Bryan what company do you own? And the gas question, I pay what my local gas station charges.. Were you trying to do the comparison with some static tax, say sales tax? 8% is more to someone with less disposable income than someone with more..

Naw, I was just making it all up!

a. The government doesn't allow you to hedge against your tax liability so you have an incentive to pump it back into the economy.

b. The SOS doesn't issue us Birth Certificate and own the Title to our body and all our property.

c. The County Clerk/Recorder doesn't issue us Certificate Of Titles to our vehicles. Enforcing us to insure their assets against damage while we never own them. They DON'T hold the actual MCO to the vehicle.

d. The County Clerk/Recorder doesn't issue us Tenant DEED's to our homes. We own them!

I was just pulling y'all leg. We own our incomes, our bodies, homes, cars, and everything else.
