finals stress

this is my 3rd semester at college... haven't done extremely well... just enough to get by... finally did well this semester... had a B+ going into my math final... here you have to get a 50 on the final to get credit for the course... well, i went home before review last week to be with my best friend who's dad passed away... so i missed all of my review...

i'm pretty sure i got below a fifty... i freeze and test time... and i need this math class to get my degree... this is my second time taking it... i just can't seem to shake it...

sigh, i'm sick of whining...

anyone else care to throw some advice my way or share a similar story?

I feel ya man. Finals are killing me right now. Im actually studying right now for a BS Art course that I have to have for a "humanities course". I also just took a Poli Sci test at 7:30 this morning. And chemistry is gonna kill me at the end of the week. Brother you are not alone.

Finals are wrecking hell on my body, but I'm not too worried about most of them....just drinking ENTIRELY too much coke/tea.

Had my organic chem test tonight, went well I think //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Tomorrow I have a blow off social work exam, and a physics exam (eek).

Then On Wednesday I have a molecular thermodynamics exam. Now this class is going to **** me. I only have to get a 63 on the final to 4.0 the class...but I think that may be much easier said than done //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Finals do **** ***. I have two more over the next two days, then im done! This is my third attempt at school, the first two had less than steller results. But the third time must be a charm for me because barring any total failure on finals i should pull all A's in my classes. Oh and just to make you feel better i have to commute 65 miles each way to school...and i have an 8am class...since its winter ive had to leave by 6:15 to be in my desk by 8. Oh and this is after working 37.5 hours over the weekend. I havent had two days off in a row since august. Least your not me.

i just had my chem exam this morning

and i think i have to take organic chem in a year

i dont know how you can deal with it, i cant stand chem lol

I love chemistry...it just makes sense to me (excluding that thermo course "aka physical chem").

Just don't fear organic...people say it's impossible, but it's by far the easiest course I've had in college.

I'm comparing it to anything I've taken though, even my 100 level writing course.

I generally go into finals with great grades, then come out with mediocre crap after the final. It's really hard for me to read ahead of time because I always forget it by the time tests roll around.

As for org. chem, it's a love or hate relationship. Generally at our school, people who hate gen. chem like org. chem and vice versa. As for me, I hated both. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

yeah finals are definitly gay. I've got 6 this semester, 2 (antenna theory and stats) were back to back this morning. then I have communications (AM/FM type stuff) tomorrow, microcontrollers on thursday and data communications on friday.

19 credits of senior level EE courses=no fun
