Got a new battery, upgraded the stock terminals on the battery posts with gold plated Tsunami terminals that have 2 eight gauge and 2 four gauge inputs. I then upgraded the wire running from the battery to the fuse box with 4 gauge wire and I am now at 13.87 volts (stabilizing) at the amp :]

 
Not done yet though, going to do the big three next, probably just use 2 or 4 gauge wiring though, this shouldn't be necessary since I'm only at 1000 watts rms but I want to allow as little resistance as possible.
