Found my dad's old Alpine DVA - 5205 Flip DVD player!!!

now, I know it can physically can fit in my dash, but I can't find a mounting kit for it.... all I can find is single din adapters and I need a double..... also, anyone know how to hook one of these up?

Thats a tough one.

Every kit I've looked at that fits your truck never says it will fit a double DIN head unit.

This is the closest I found, looks like it might work with a little massaging, but I wouldnt swear to it.

one is the flip and the other is the drive it self

why dont you just install the flip out in your dash and relocate your actual dvd player somehwere else (under dash, in glove box) it wouldnt be that hard all you would have to do is extend some wires. i would rather do that then custom fabricate something.

I guess..... but both units connect to a third piece,m the control unit... so I'm not sure.... i'm tooooooo tired to think...

just extend the wires on the player itself. thats what i would do and im just tryin to give you some input.
