As the title says I've finally found(due to lack of options) a pair of subs for my Tacoma. I'll be going with two Kicker compRT8 in a sealed box behind the back seat. The amp I'll be running is a PPI PC1800. Since that pushes 400w at 4ohm and 800 at 2ohm, I'd like to run it at the 2 ohms since the subs can handle it.
Now if I've been reading things right, to run the 2 ohms I can either buy two 1ohm subs and run them in a series or 2ohm subs and run them parallel? Does anyone have a wire diagram to run a DVC in a series if I run the 1ohm? Or a diagram to run a DVC parallel at 2ohm?
My first time wiring a sub box. Home audio I'm all in on but car audio I've a bit in the dark on the subs. I've always just taken it somewhere and had someone else do it.
