Redo it as a one-piece. Cut it to contour the floor, the entire floor, carpet it, then call it done. You have the right idea though.

True. if you don't have good insurance like AAA then you'd be assed out if a tired blows. that would blow. I ride around w/ a full sized spare even though I have road side assistance, because I doubt they are in a rush to help you.

I'll definitely take some of your suggestions and incorporate them once I install the sub here in a few weeks.

As of now, everything sounds GREAT. The OEM's love the Orion 6002, excellent combination.

thread title should have been "look I mounted my amps to plain MDF" nothing "clean" about it, unfinished at best.

Like I said, it looks a lot better than it was.
