SQ is quite good on them actually. Per DJ they're made to sound good, but just happen to get loud also. They weren't designed to be an SPL sub...

They're not as "dry" as my RL-P's were which is a good thing IMO, and they blend well if you have a nice front stage. Keep up with fast double kicks and everything else I listen to.
