Finally found a HU!

Straight out of China but they have had great communication with me over the last few days. And it does come with full range RCA preouts. I'm not a huge fan of android but it's my only option.

I can't keep using the MS-8s volume because the cable is getting spotty and I get noise using the radios volume. Noise is 100% confirmed coming from the stock HU.

I ordered this piece to see if it cleans it up before the DSP to get me by until I can get the new deck. Thoughts? Fingers are crossed.

Weren't you going to try an Arc Audio noise gate product? How is a fancy LOC going to help?

I seen bad news on the noise gate. It basically shuts down everything. So songs with breaks lose all air.

I'm running out of ideas. The plus side about that LOC is it will shut the amps off when I turn off the HU. Now it doesn't do that. I can use the inline level remote and use the remote out to the MS-8

Anyway I might have a fix. Since I know what to look for I've been seeing cases of it happening in a lot of Ford models. They are saying it can be the factory ACM. I've got a spot at the dealer Friday to check it out and possibly replace it.

Most newer cars with factory amps are converting to the I data link maestro connectors.

I don't have a factory amp. Only the Sony package does.

What I think I know about the I-data link. It brings full sync function to a compatible HU.
