The shipper must file the claim, contact them.

from what i hear is the shipper has to make the claim, you can call ups and tell them your package got destroyed and they will get a hold of the shipper for you. My wife told me this and she works at a ups store, hope this helps, oh yeah don't throw the box or the packing material away yet.

shit what would happen if i did throw it away....b/c i bought a blown triple x motor and it seemed that the motor has misaligned.

yes the shipper makes the claim. what you do as the receiver is put everything back in the box just as you received it form ups. they come by pick it up and take it to see if the damage was tehir fault. (note if there is anything in the package you want to keep you better take it out because you wont be getting the damaged package back.) so if it was their fault they will send the shipper a check for the amount they insured the package for.

i dont thinks they will do it then because you threw away any proof you had to prove your case.

well they need to look at the package and see if it was well packed, if they have no proof of how it was packed they might not be able to do anything about it. your best bet it call and go with flow and see what happens. whats the worse that can happen?

well the box was thrown away but i still have the packing stuff? b/c moe lester reconed it for me today and it did not sound right and that the magnets has splitted apart about 1/16 of an inch.

he has to file the claim, they'll come to get it to inspect...they'll decide if they'll pay..if so, the sender gets the check...

it took me about 6 months to get the last settlement for $100 when they did $500 in damage

i guess this means my recone came in aswell?
