I need to find a new program to get music and stuff. I had limewire but it wasnt great and now im hearing its spyware crap? Any suggestions on a safe program to use? thanks

Thanks guys, ill take a look. My main concern is that they are safe, I just got my computer back from a factory service so Im starting new and want to keep it running good.

be careful with torrents though cause they can have trojans as well. generally i only use limewire for single songs. for bigger things like movies, whole albums, and software i use torrents

bittorrent FTMFW, first thing to download after you set it up is a nice antivirus program, a spyware/adware program, and your pretty much good to go

i usually get my torrents from http://www.thepiratebay.org and read the comments and i can tell if it's a good torrent or not

you consider limewire safe? been wanting to get something like that or similar, but had bad experiences with kazaa back in the day messing my puter up.

no but torrents aren't exactly "safe" i haven't used limewire in months
