Figureing out ohms

I just cant figure it out. if i have 2- 2ohm voice coils rated at 500w each would that mean a load of 500w at 4ohms or a load of 1000w at 4ohms? also how would that transfer into 1 ohm? Thanks

You seem very confused. There is no current (wattage) load in this equation... There is only an impedance load (resistance- ohm). Check out the wiring guide in one of the stickies here (ill get you a link in a second.)
