fiberglass or wood?

ok, i'm going to be building a box in the next few weeks for a 10" se, which will be sealed. but my hatch has some weird angles, and was thinking maybe it would be easier to glass it, rather than deal with wood. the box will cover half the hatch, from the trunk latch over and measures about 1 cu ft. its going to line up exactly with the black covers in the pics. any thoughts?

glass the sides with the weird angles and use wood for the straight sides or just the mounting surface.

yeah half glass half MDF wouldnt be a bad idea, but if you want to just go with one or the other, id go with glass.

the box will be small, only 1cu. ft, so would i really need to use mdf?
