as the title says i built 2 seperate enclosures for 2 dd 8's. it took a while trying to get them as even as possible. the spare tire is offset to the passenger side and it made it hard to get the boxes exactly the same size.

i glassed the bottoms first.

built up the sides with 3/4 mdf. then added the rings.

cheapest fleece from walmart

first coat of resin.

after some bondo and sanding.

painted.

in the car.

i wasnt happy with how they looked painted so i took the easy way out and carpeted them.

i dont have my new amp yet so these are only getting 200w each and they still pound. im really happy with how they sound.

it sounds great. the bass is nice and tight. i was afraid they would sound bad since they are made for vented enclosures.

there isnt really much to it. just strech the fleece, pour the resin on it and spred it around. i spray glued the glass to the inside then poured the resin in and spread it around. there are 3 layers inside.

its really much easier than it looks. this is only my 3rd enclosure.

i put some deadner under the enclosures. i was thinking of spraying the bottoms with truck beadliner.

the bass is suprisingly loud. my new amp shoud be here on monday. they will get 400rms each.
