It's been about 50* here all day and I tried to 'glass some rings in my door panel to install some mids. I glassed them aroun 10am and they still are not dry. The glass left over in the cup is plenty dry and hard but want I tried to glass is not. I went the paper mache route and dipped pieces of matt into cups of resin and smoother over the ring. Any ideas on why it isn't dry?

When I used to glass stuff, I added a HUGE amount of accelerator. Enough to make the resin hard in about 15-20min, if that. Once you have the basic shape of whatever you're glassing, go ahead and add lots of hardener to anything to glass.

No reason you couldn't just glue a ring of plywood up under there then paint it with some bedliner or plasti-dip or similar to keep the elements...
