I can't comment on the Z but AQ subs aren't really big on SQ. They'll get loud though. I had a Q in 2.2 cubes @ 30Hz and it sounded pretty **** good. It will also take quite a bit more than 1000 rms daily.

Personally I would go Z15, Jake is a great guy and teh price advantage wins it for me.

I think Meade is a cool guy and has a nice system but just because people buy fi subwoofers doesn't mean they are trying to be like him. Clearly they are a quality product.
