FI SSD > Alpine Type R?

Im looking to get a 10' sub at around the 150 price range. I have narrowed down my selection to either the FI SSD or an Alpine Type R. My question is which sub will i be most pleased with. Im talking about all around clarity and performance, not just loudness.

SSD, some will tell you the type R can sound good, but if sound quality is important i'd go with the SSD

Mach 5 Audio IXL 10s 165 shipped i believe. Owned a set, got loud and sounded great.

SSD for sq. It's not going to be as loud as the R, but the R's can tend to get a bit shouty. That isn't to say the R's sound bad, because that'd be an asinine statement, but the SSD is a great sub.
