I have a four door car and for me to fit the box in my trunk I had to build it in the trunk. I had to remove my rear deck speakers to fit it. Trying to down size without loosing the power handling.

Wow, I had similar issues trying to get my enclosure in also, it was a pain in the a.. What amp you have for the sp4?

The two 12s will need the same amount of space, if not more, than the SP4...

Dmac is right both would want 4 cubes or more to be happy. What size is your box now? What a about a single 12 in a 4th?

My issue is height I can go wide and have a lot of depth

I tried that first doesn't sound good like that and my whole trunk is deadend. Sub facing forward port forward sounds really good and moves tons of air.
