fi.q vs fi.ssd

surprisingly the q gets lower with smaller volume...about 2.25ft^3 tuned at whatever you want is great.....slightly smaller with no issues

and the peak is less pronounced at a lower frequency:D

Dont rely on what a program tells you about how a stereo will sound. Once the box is put in the car, that graph is as good as toilet paper.
worked amazing to tell me the response on my system and quite a few others i have designed.....and the final response in car has been great for all of them

Now the question is do I go with a fi.ssd 12 with copper coils for 135 or a q
Idk what to do......i really want the q but its a lot more uggg
Well, what's your goal? Daily beater? Are you more interested in SPL or SQ?

I would say rock the ssd 12. With only the 800-900 watts you have I don't think it would be a big difference. Maybe, if you can, build a ported enclosure that would would be good for both the ssd and the Q. If you are disappointed in the SSD you can sell it and buy a Q.

you will kick yourself later if you don't get the q now....spend the 140 now. down the road, you will want to sell the other, probably for less and have to make up the difference out of pocket
enough said

the SSD is still a big step up from a Kicker CVR right?

I figure since I am only giving it 900 watts then might as well go with an SSD with copper coils for like half the price.

My next upgrade probably wont be for a pretty long time and it will probably have more then a 900 watt amp.
