L0lz, I like the 4th order idea myself.Well, I enjoy sealed for the accuracy and ported for the ouput
a 4th order is basically the best of both worlds, and would be a fun project.
Ported is so 05

Same with my rl-p.if it's anything like the mag, you will be pleasantly surprised with the accuracy in a ported box. i didn't think that i lost much SQ when i made the switch
Mine take 1300+ daily just fine. In a sealed enclosure, with unclipped power I'm sure it can take 1600w. You just have to know what you're doing.Im very interested in the Fi Q 15" now after reading some threads about them. Just got a few questions, whats the peak handling of the Dual 2 15" Fi Q? The RMS is 1000, can it handle 1600watts rms? Whats the recommended ported box size in cu.ft. and hertz? Keep it around 3 cu.ft. I hope..
Thanks if you can help me.
the Q should sound warmer once the suspension starts to loosen up. I found it a bit peaky in the beginning.
it was a 12" i heard btw. super stiff suspension right out the box. After a while, the sound got noticeably warmer.
