Fi Q, SSA XCON, or TREO SSis for a SQ setup?

Hi!

I was just wondering if anyone had experience with any Fi's, SSA's, or Treo's? I'm planning on buying my subs this weekend, and I kinda had those three brands in mind. For the same general vicinity in price, I can get 1 15" Fi Q, 1 12" SSA XCON, or 2 12" Treo SSi's. I'm running that 1500w Kicker amp, and looking for a SQ setup in a ported box.

I was going to go with the Fi Q, but I heard that Fi has had some problems with tinsel slap?

Thanks! Any suggestions, even on the brands would be greatly appreciated.

I own a SSA Xcon and Treo SSi. I have ran the Xcon sealed and SSi ported. They are both some of my favorite subs I have ever owned. They both get low and sound great. I think the Xcon looks better but that shouldn't matter much. I was really impressed how the Xcon sounded sealed, it has nice impact and sounds smooth. It will take your power very well too.

How much total cu ft are you willing to give up in your car?

I'm willing to have a box that is 3 feet wide, 2.5 feet deep and 2 feet high...not sure what the cu ft is on that. If Treo is a good brand, I'd really lean towards them...it's not that much difference to get 2 SSi12's, and I imagine they would pound the **** out of my Jeep //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. Any idea the difference in SPL or SQ between the one XCON or two Treo SSi's?

If you have 36" x 30" x 24" That is 12.8 cu ft. That is a huge amount of space you can fit what ever you want. The two are pretty even sounding in SQ. And 2 12's vs 1 12 should get about 3 db louder depending on your box.

According to your dimensions, you have 12.5 cuft to work with. I have a 18" XCON for sale dirt cheap that is **** near brand new. It's less than 2 months old with less than 3 hours of use in a home theater set up. You have plenty of space to go ported or sealed. I'm ready to offload this thing because I have shit to buy. Let me know if you're interested.
