Why not a 15" RL-P? They'll do just fine in 2.5^3. That's what mine are in, tuned to 30Hz and they POUND.

Recommended is 2.5^3 @28Hz, but I couldn't fit that since I wanted 2 of them...

I was reading up on the Q and one person says that it is more of an SQ sub rather than SQL. The ME is considered a "SQL supersub"...yet everyone is rec. the Q? Im basically lookin for SQL, is that what ill get with the Q sealed in 3cubes rather than the ME?

I have a ME 12 and love it Its in a bandpass and gets real loud and sounds great doing it. If you would like i could get some more vids up.

My Q 15 gets loud and low but its not punchie i would go with a differebt driver if you like punchie bass. The q is good on rap and stuff depends on what music you listen to. I have also heard the ME and the IDMAX are pretty close in performance so just pick the one you like best there all good.

I dont have the room to port a 15in. and dont want to get a 12 because I need my lows.

They are definately both in the same league. Jim who heard both recc'd the Q, thats as good of an opinion as you'll get around here.

The only thing i can personally tell you, is NOT to port an ME.

For now a Power Acoustik a1000db at 2 ohms. It is real loud but should be even louder once i upgrade my amp.
