FI.Q & FI.SSD 10"s box specs...

Why is the recomended sealed enclosure size for the Q as small as .2 and the SSD is .6 ?

Would it really matter if I stuck an SSD 10" in a .6 total cu ft box? I prefer smaller enclosures anyway (as I listen to mostly Rock). Any thoughts on this

At .6 cuft before displacement you will be at about .7 Qtc which many consider optimal for sound quality. I prefer this or lower for most SQ setups, but I also have a healthy midbass section up front to blend better. Lots of kids or rock heavy listeners prefer slightly higher qtc alignments (smaller boxes).

Q10 has a similar response to the SSD but in a smaller enclosure (.3 cuft vs .5 cuft for the SSD).
