Help guys I am gettn a new set-up for my new tahoe....first I will explain the wifes car setup.

alpnie type r 15 with a d3 1000 watt amp wired to 1 ohm in pro built box with a 20 farad hybrid cap...its loud video soon.

I am gettin a kx 2500.1 amp for tahoe and want good AIR movement and deep bass...with decent sq. I am a electroinc music DJ and also produce...but i also listen to hip hop...please give me advice

Not lookin to spend crazy amounts on a sub lookin at btl and xxx...but like I said i want decent sq. I am also only goin with one sub

The XXX is the only sub I'd consider from RE.. As for FI the Q is probably more inline with what you are looking for..

I'd consider box requirments and response curves then make my decision from there...

Just a thought but my brother has 1 JL13w7 with a JLaudio 1000/1 in his hummer H2 and he uses the factory setup for mids and highs and it doesnt sound half bad. He has to turn the bass knob down or it overpowers the fronts but for what he has invested I think its a BIG leap in $$$ to get much better. I think he has about $900 in the whole deal....+ install

my past couple setups i have done the same by keepn factory door spealers but allways upgrade deck.....

past setups constited of 12 l7 1000 watss amp, 15 l7 highfonics 1500 watt amp which wasnt bad at all and the wifes car.....but for the tahoe i want some good air movment and SQ. I am upgradeing big 3 and xtra batt. I am looking for a really good 15 that moves some air and I know i am going to have to have a decent sized box...and will address that once i got the sub picked for the zx 2500
