FI or DC

I'm ready to upgrade basically everything in my system Lows wise. I just got a hold of a crescendo bc3500.1 and currently getting a HO alt being built for me. This is a daily driver but its the first time I'm willing to go above 2k watts and really haven't personally had experience with the brands. I'm venturing out. But at this point I am between Fi And DC audio. (any other brand suggestions would be appreciated). For the Fi, I've been looking at the Fi BL 12's. And DC Level 4 12's. I have a custom box right now at about 3.5 ^3. So its in the range for both (im running two). Anyone have experience with either brands, build times, and quality? Or is there anything else in the same field someone would recommend ?

i have exp. with both the dc will like the smaller box better as where the fi will like a slightly bigger box.both will take the power,dc is 7-10 days build time as fi is 3 weeks plus .but you cant go wrong with either sub.i run the lvl 4 subs now at .7 ohms on a vfl 150.1 ,and they love it

Either way you have to wait. As Jim said DC like small boxes but FI are fine is normal size boxes as well. My FI sp4s will get 3.7 ft per sub on a 15

No problem like I said both are great subs I'm the west coast rep for dc. And these are my first set. Been running ascendant mayhems for years. Same company as fi btw. And like I said can't go wrong either way

I'd go with the DCs in that box. The Fis would do better in a little bigger box than that.

thanks, that two for DC. On the exact dimensions, its 3.63^3 tunned at 32hz. I'm thinking the DCs will love it then. I'm going to hold off until I have the alt put in and once I lay my wiring for the extra xs im going to grab before going ahead and ordering.

Would the one run of 1/0 be enough or should I go for two runs?

Alright cool, just put in my order for an extra 30ft of knukonceptz. My original run is rockford 100%OFC but its insanely expensive lol. I am using the lvl 4 m2 12, in 1.5 @ 32hrtz, on a saz 1500v.3. I had the same issue as you, the exact same sub query. Spoke with mylows, he hooked me up with the dc, and I am extremely pleased with my decision. That's not to say that it is the better sub, just that I'm pleased with the choice I made. And I am giving it more than the 1400wrms that it's rated for.
