Fi BTL UFO 18 vs Sundown Zv3 18

NO SUNDOWN NUT HUGGERS PLEASE

System is geared mainly toward spl then sq. I have someone who wants to trade me a BTL UFO 18 for my ZV3 18.

One plus with the trade is that the BTL/UFO is a dual 1.4 ohm coil so i can drop my amp to .75 ohm and gain some power vs my zv3 is wired to 1 ohm.

But looking for imput....

Yea he is not going to let me borrow it. I never said i was trading. He just offered it and idk much about them other then they get loud lol... Also i can drop my imp like you told me to. Well drop it some lol.... Im not going to be doing much with my system anyway for while. Im about to head to the hospital in like 30 mins.. My wife is having our baby girl today....

Congrats bro ...yea anytime u can wire that below 1ohm is a plus amd the btl is pretty stout ...have u metered the zv3?

No my truck is running like crap and my alt isnt charging right. I think i have a ground issue or the alts going out

Local guy had a 15" btl n3 on 2 saz3000 doin. 153s. dont kno much about the ufo as they r the least popular. bc of the triple stack n2 and n3

There isn't going to be too much of a difference either way. Whatever little you lose on a meter you wont' hear, it'll be within a decibel I'm almost sure. The Z would be easier to sell, so personally I'd keep it. The older BTL would be harder to trade out of.

Yea i see.... I was just kind of wondering about them. I know the zv3s are good subs. I like it myself.. Well sort of like it. I havnt got to crank it yet on my 3500 lol

i personally dont like the ufo btl rather the older model.

the zv3 is a stronger motor with better soft parts,all im sayin
