I just emailed them about the Fi X's.

I was set on a pair of the 12''s for my reg cab, because that would be the most SPL I could squeeze out of

I will be dissapointed if these are no longer in production.

We have added yet another option to the BTL and new BL series, the Universal motor option.

This option allows you to fit and swap any of the coils in the specific driver series lineup into the motor.

Currently all of the motors are machined specifically to maximize each coil choice. But in doing this, it doesnt allow for different coils to be swapped in and out of the same driver as the dimensions are different for each coil. Now, if you want the option to be able to switch coils and impedance, you simply select the "Universal" motor option.

is the BL made so simular to the BTL that all it is, is a weak BTL? Thats what it seems like to me since it's inbetween the Q and BTL. So if you get the "spl" version are you not just buying a BTL???

It's a different motor and everything you stupid nub. It's for people who want a loud DD but don't want to have to run like 2500 watts for BTL's.
