FI Audio & SSA the same company?

Curious....

Seems that FI audio and SSA audio 'may' be the same company? Or perhaps more likely they have their speakers manufactured by the same plant? Or maybe FI builds subs for SSA? Their parts/subs look very similar and they both have their subs built out of las vegas.

Not that it's a bad thing since quality of both companies' subs are good. Also different speakers and designs are for different purposes but it's still an amusing observation.

But curious nonetheless.

Different companies, but Fi is the OEM for SSA's woofers. They may look similar, but SSA's drivers are designed specifically for them and are not clones of Fi woofers.

it does seem like that Fi may build SSa but the speakers are different design. not a bad thing at all if it is. but I like to get my stuff at wal mart, bazooka FTW.

Scott is an OEM speaker build. He builds woofers for other companies. Crossfire is another big name brand that he produces subs for.

He did OEM speaker manufacturing way before Fi or Ascendant was around.
