few computer parts

So the graphics card will run on almost any computer right? Ive got an older comp (2005 or so) that i want to turn into a HTPC. The video card in it is probably to outdated to play any kind of DVDs on at a decent resolution. Will this support a 40" HDTV? It doesnt have to be HD quality, but enough to get at least regular DVD quality.

Possible interest here.

your old computer isn't probably pci-e compatable.

It could be, but that was right around when the transition was taking place... so you'd need to find out if you have an AGP video slot or a PCI-Express (PCI-E) video slot.
