Umm... more like 40k, but I'll let it slide. How in the heLL did you do that? WOT it downhill or something? Smooth, buddy. I just dropped an XTM 24.7 Pro in my Savage and it is by FAR the best $125 I've EVER spent. It literally starts on the FIRST pull every time. I am surprised every time I pull the starter because it's so easy and reliable. And did I mention it has power out the A$$? Oh, and I highly suggest dropping in an O.S. .18 as a replacement. That is, as long as you don't race. WAY too much power to put down on the track, but boat-loads of fun if you're just bashing.

heh what i did was, i duct taped the throttle open and airbrushed propellant into the carb. essentially nitrous for a RC. i SWEAR it peaks around 47k....dunno. i got it up to 62 once, then i blew a con rod. nice engine. the xtm is overpriced. the OS RZ lines OWN the xtm. i dont race cause i cant keep it on the ground and it has too much wheelspin.

How did you measure rpms???

And how is $125 overpriced for a .247 engine that starts on the first pull every time, is easy to tune, and makes plenty enough power to make an 11 pound truck wheelie like mad with taller gearing than stock (a larger clutchbell along with a smaller spur).

What other cars do you have?

i just never liked the .247 personally...i dont measure rpms, i just look in the manual. i have a busted out tmaxx, hpi rs4 2 and a janked up electric 4tec. my dads got a savage with CF ladders on it. it has some intense handling. atm, i'm designing a turbine and air suspension for the rustler....i just need to figure out the servos....
