Fellow Employee Eats My Lunch

Ok, l worked a 11 hour shift yesterday and unlike most places I can't leave for lunch so yesterday I ordered food from a local italian place. I ordered a very large calzone that was more than enough for me to eat for 2 meals. I ordered knowing I had to work another long shift today and though I could snack on it for 2 days.

You can imagine a calzone from an Italian eatery is not that cheap, in fact it was $10.02 (I found the receipt today for it near the garbage can) Well I placed it in the refrigerator after my shift and went home.

Today I come in and skip breakfast and failed to pack a lunch, looking forward to my nice lunch awaiting me that I had already paid for. Also I had stashed an order of wings that my g/f had brought me yesterday that I didn't eat b/c i ordered said calzone.

I go to the back today and open the refrigerator. To my dismay it has been ransacked. 10 Dollars worth of food GONE!!!. I looked frantically around the back room looking for my food at which point i discover the receipt from the side of the box near the trash can.

The guy who came in after me, who is a rather heavy set fellow ate all my food that should and would have fed me plentifully today, and possibly tom. I'm contemplating what to do about him taking my food, but I already ordered my 2nd calzone, which was of coarse another 10.02.

Thoughts?

I'd flip.

One time my work crew was eating at a restaurant and one guy tried to snag a peice of steak off my plate. Next thing you know he had my fork sticking in the back of his hand lol. I don't know man, something about food I'm really territorial about.

That's grounds for theft. Report him. A very similar incident happened here @ our Home Depot, guy got caught, was fired.
