pre 00 is old for silverado trucks imo, 00 and up is still pretty new but my 00 is getting old as fuck

cars are completely different, good luck selling a car for 7-8k thats 10-15 years old. trucks hold value

That can be fixed very with a little tuning with tunercat or carpeting.com

My Silverado will go all the way to 100, but no higher
GM did this because the one-piece drive-shafts aren't safe going much faster

My uncle got the governor taken off of his 2000's Silverado, and now it'll go up to 120. He's got a Camaro ZL1 engine in it though..

I don't know if it still has the factory drive-shaft, and may be geared differently

Same uncle that fixed my truck for me. He used to do auto-salvage. Now he's a railway mechanic

Think I gotta good deal for my s10 p/u paid 1800 cash for my '98, slightly over 200K miles (having that many miles scares me but runs great).

it really depends on condition, tons of things to look at. what engine, is it leaking oil or coolant, what ******, what rear end, replaced fuel pump? any coolant leaks in the radiator or any hoses obviously patched up? heater hoses look in good condition? serpentine belt and idler pulley and tensioners in good shape? water pump leaking out the weep hole? fan clutch in good shape? what about the radiator? is it throwing any codes? ABS in good condition? leaf springs shot? front coil springs shot? bushings worn out? shocks worn out?

Well after all this stress, time, and money, I'm not happy with my install. Doesn't have enough low end, even after making the port a lot longer.
Box specs are 30.4 cubes net (was 34.6 before I added more port length), 363.5 square inches of port area, and the port is 17 inches long. Judging by several online calculators, that should be tuned in the low 30's. (32-33ish)

the box seems solid, but I know everyone said that the plexi is my weak-point. I really do not want to scrap that part.

I doubt it could even do a small hairtrick right now. Hopefully I can fix it like I fixed my last install, with something minor.

On top of that, my personal life is really crappy right now. I had gotten chlamydia from my last ex, and didn't know it. I ended up transferring it to the girl of my dreams, who I had somehow managed to score. She had abdominal pain after we'd been fucking on the regular for a couple weeks. She went to the doctor, thinking it was just a urinary tract infection. They ran a bunch of tests, and that's how she found out she had it. Then I went and got tested, followed by my ex. Yep, it was from me.

Now she doesn't want to hang out with me anymore. Obviously, I understand why. I feel awful about the whole thing. We only began hanging out a lot after my last install. I was hoping to win her back with this one, but that's obviously not going to happen. I still really like and care about her :/

I have less than no money right now too.

On top of all this, I'm completely loaded down with a fuck-ton of homework right now. Also running on limited sleep

Figured I could vent here, because I don't know and will probably never meet most of you guys.

I just feel really shitty, physically and mentally.

Life sucks right now to say the least. I know I'm still young, but more than anything, I wish I could re-do life.

Life ***** sometimes man. Long story short, I was academically suspended from Texas A&M last semester. I broke up with my GF of 2.5 years, then moved into Houston for a failed internship with a home security company called True Protection. Came back home and realized I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. My brother pulled a knife on me 3 days after I got home for one reason or another. I had to return to living with my parents for this semester. I began working 40-50 hour work weeks on top of school so I could save up the money to move back to College Station. A good friend passed away a month ago. Both girls I tried talking to this semester have no interest in me whatsoever. I drunk texted/called both of them last night.

Bright side. I'm moving back next semester. I learned to just focus on myself. You should do the same. As far as your female situation, she's probably going to hate you for awhile. There is nothing you can do about that except for constant apology. I can't really speak as to having *** (20 yr old virgin; laugh idc). Relax this upcoming break. Drugs and alcohol aren't needed to take your mind off of things. With your condition, ever thought of just doing a small simple build? Maybe you could try getting into SQ. You shouldn't put yourself in a potentially harmful situation if you know your heart can't take it.
