This amplifier was purchased by me about eight months ago. It has gone through a little bit of abuse that I will explain in this post. The amplifier still looks sexy as hell, however there are a few setbacks.

The amplifier's +12v screw was tightened too tightly and the phillips head became stripped. It was a 7mm screw, so I went to the hardware store and could only find ugly *** 7mm bolts. I bought one. I went home to reconnect the amplifier. I tightened the ground's screw first, then went to tighten the bolt, and WOW SPARKS OMG so i ripped the ground back out really insanely hard. There is now a black mark above the +12v terminal. Pictures tomorrow.

While having this amplifier installed with my Avalanche 15, I had a slight misfortune. The negative speaker lead disconnected from my amplifier and grounded itself to car chassis. I dissassembled the amplifier and found which parts to be blown easily, because the amplifier had a significant amount of burn residue around the inbound Mosfets as well as a transistor.

I described this scenario to my friends at KBAudio, who told me that the only thing I have to do to repair the amplifier is to replace all 12 inbound mosfets as well as the blown transistor.

I purchased the parts from http://www.partsexpress.com and repaired the amplifier with the help of my friend's very capable soldering ability.

I tested this amplifier with one Ascendant Audio 15 freeair to test, and I believed it sounded fine, however wanted to put it through a more strenuous test to ensure it's ability.

I hooked up with Mike (IwantseXXX) and we put it on his two Stereo Integrity Magnum 12's in a ported enclosure. We drove it hard, even tried to clip it a little bit to get it to show any signs of stress, but not a part of the board felt warm after a good three or five minute workout.

Tomorrow I am going to put it on his Magnums again and let him run it for a couple days. I will be posting a For Sale thread for this amplifier in the near future if it holds up to his test.

I would like to get $200 plus shipping out of this amplifier. Please PM me if you are interested.

The amplifier is now being tested in my friend's car. He is going to use the amplifier to it's fullest potential and abuse it a little bit. This is all to test the equipment. In a day or two I will have the amplifier back, I will take pictures, and it will go up for sale.

thanks for your interest!
