well i have only heard the 12w6. but IMO the W7 sounds better and gets louder. i just don't have the room for it. and the look that i'm going for in my car fits two smaller subs, rather than one big boy.

how much space you got? i think ported is only 1.75 cubes... i had a box that size and it sounded pretty good.
