so i spent most of the day fixing alot of little things here and there that needed touchups, as well as installing my new ID NX30 tweets. these are the same tweets used in the chameleoon component set, and also have alower frequency response than normal tweets (they're also freaggin huge for tweets).

didnt manage to put something in there for a size referance...but they're about 2/3rds bigger than most tweets ive seen

my big 3 needed some touchups, as well as my power and grounds in the back. for 2 spots where i had runs from the engine block to chasis, i had used this 19 strand 3/0awg from home depot. only problem is it's 19 thick strands, and seeign as how electrons like to flow on the surface area of the wire, the low strand count kinda sucked, so i replaced those 2 spots with good knu 1/0.

here's the 2 runs coming off teh alty to the battery. there's also one of the engine block to chasis runs goign over the alty, i ran outa wire to work with so i had to com up with a new spot (and that one works).

still kinda messy, and if anyone wants to donate me a fuse block so i can stop useing those nut connections ghetto rigged fuse block on the bottom, id be most aprreciative.

buuunch of grounds. those are my 3 off the battery (had an extra 2awg bat terminal post i threw in) and 1 off the engine block.

in the back where my dual 1/0 power and grounds for the amp are, they were gettin kinda short and pain in the *** to deal with, so i slapped on some fuse blocks and added osme wire, now i have more room to manuver with instead of it being a royal pain in the *** just to get 1 power and groun lead in to the amp. also i finally put in these adapters i got from wolfpackaudio that take 2 1/0's and allow me to plug into a single 1/0 connection point (essentially bus bars).

here's a close up of the bus bars i had fabricated. covered in electrical tape. (already a coat on the outside of something so they wont conduct, buuuut just in case because i have bad luck...tape....)

got my 2nd TV (passenger side visor) with my N64 in, goldeneye is the choice of game for the passenger (or myself waiting @ the drive through or wherever when not driving). i call it hater-vision.

the 2nd TV is simply a bling factor i guess....hater vision for people behind me...and fun to have navi on the main and music vids/goldeneye on the visor. AND YES, everytime i get to my apt complex i turn it off and put it up so people dont see thats hit where i live, cause it screams steal me....

now all im waiting for is my new top assembly so i can have bassssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss, which ive been without for 2 months //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

when the car is in motion the background graphics come to life and look bad ***...but you'll have to see it in person for that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

im gonan throw some covers on it......to be honest with you as long as the bass works and everythign else inside the car is nice, i dont mind a little clutter under the hood

until something STOPS working, and that clutter causes massive confusion and frustration

it's worth it in the long run to keep wiring tidy

That is some pretty garbage wiring. I guess that's a Big 3. Looks like a Big 10 or Big 12. Here are some pics of my wiring. I'm pretty proud of how it came out. I gotta say that one of my favorite parts of a system is clean wiring. Clean that shit up man with the quickness.

then from behind the car, hater vision //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

and a good guts shot of my 16-mc3004

well koodoos to you, with 2 1/0 runs off the alty, 2 more to the back battery, 3 off the batteryt o ground, and 2 more from the block to the chasis, thats ALOT of 1/0..... im sure mine will look better with some covers but guys, limited space and limited wire to work with. im happy with it. and urs is a little cleaner, thats it

you guys should see my panals......between dual 1/0's with another 4awg for the door amp, all my door speaker wires, all my navigation and processor wires, bass knob wire, video rcas, audio rcas (4 sets total), and all the shit for the N64, it's a mirical i made it all udner the panals without them looking too funky...

That's not true with DC. You would have been fine leaving it with the home depot wiring.

x2 keep it tidy and avoid the frustration later on. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
