Every 100 lbs = 0.1 sec off your 1/4 mile ... I doubt you'll even notice the difference unless you drag race for a living...

Ive used that sub in a sealed box about that size, believe it or not but that sub is actually made for small sealed enclosures. It will lack a little output on the low end but if you do build another box make it about 2 cubic feet tuned to about 34hz, and she will sing. I cracked the surround in mine and put a pioneer 3004spl in its place and its got about the same loudness but the eclipse is so much better sq. Right now I'm messing around with 2 15" type R's.
