night guys
wow..u can read congrats on this mile stone:rolleyes:

douchbags that get animals high or drunk should be shot

leave the speaker enclosure in the plastic tub and go get a mouse and leave it in the tub but in the littl ebox or whatever it comes in from the pet store eventhough the snake has recently eaten snakes will keep eating till they choke so it will come out and try to find that mouse

oh and if she has just eaten she wont need to come out for 2-3 months

good luck

for what it's worth i never give alchole to animals. and since it never had an effect on the snake i dont try that anymore. just the gecko every now and then and ussually she'll be calm., sometimes acts normal....

i heard mothballs is a good trick.

however i now have 2 snakes on my hands. right now the plan is to sell the ball python with the current cage and buy a bigger cage for the red tail boa with those funds. the cage is sufficent for her size but not if i want her to get bigger....which i do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

the red tail is probly happy in her little hiding spot and its working out in the mean time while i get this other snake situated. WORST case senario and the pyton idoesnt get sold the red tail needs herc cage back, i can find a home for the python.im sure i can fnd someone who would buy a cage and lights for her and take the snake for free if it came down to it.

good news about the python, it just shed and was hungry. it ate the rat and now it's much calmer. i havent handled her yet since it need sot diguest but she lets u pet her. seems like its been in the wild for some time but probly spent most its life in captivity since its not wigging out to the touch. soon enough ill have pics if i can get a camera

at least its not lost in a maxima //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
bastard!!!!!!!!

well hey you want a trick that they told me.....

take some chlorine or bleach and try to funnel the fumes into the port, supposedly they hate it and makes them want to get away from the smell.

and since you have the container, if its fully covered....just put an open bottle of like clorox in there and leave it for a little while. if the other guys were right, it should come out quickly.

hell, just throw a few moth balls in the port and it should come out, but make sure you can get em out lol

since you know exactly where it is, just try to get some fumes in there and see if it comes out. this didnt work for me b/c i had no idea where the snake was.....so i couldnt direct the fumes.

someone said their snake was lost in their car but knew where it was, directed some chlorine fumes at it and it came out in 10mins....read my old posts about the snake its in there somewhere..

****, if i saw a snake in the hall of a dorm, especially that big, i'd probaby S$%t myself!!!!!!!

im seriously traumatized by that shit, i couldnt even look at the pics you posted of your snake.

The python my wife used to have would absolutely not eat if he wasn't 100% good and ready to eat.

If he wasn't hungry he would ignore a mouse for days on end. Him moving around the aquarium he was in would, of course, freak the mouse right out of his skull but the snake paid the rodent no mind at all.

I agree completely. Out of the 30 or so different species of boas and pythons I've had none of them would eat till they choke. I've wasted a lot of rabbits trying to get my snakes to eat before they were ready.

Well, its cold blooded.

Either heat things up or cool it down enough for it to get very uncomfortable and it'll budge. Im sure you can come up with something creative.
