Feckin Snake's Loose....kinda...its a standoff...

so some of you may remember i got my hands on this 3.5ft red tail boa

Welllllll i take her out once a day and let her roam around my room especially so she can explore and be active......well 2 things constictors (especially boas) are good at are climbing and hiding. She's on top of my computer and goes by my computer speaker bass cabinet (4 inch speaker, small port, basic cabinet setup). Well shes been around this spot man o times but never tried going into the port.....well the lil ****er decided to go in there and before i knew it she had enough of her body in there i couldnt pull her out....

wellshortly there after i find that there's NO WAY to get her out unless i break apart the cabinet. I dont want to do this because A: i dont wanna repair this one or buy another one if i cant fix it..... B: it'll be really rough and possibly tramatizing to the snake dealing with the vibrations of hammering and ripping this wood cabinet apart to get to her...

.....so im in a stand off with her. i have a big plastic bin i use to feed her in and so i placed the cabinet in there with a water dish a nd a heat rock in hopes she comes out.......... what sucks though is that she jsut ate a while ago and can probly stay inthere for a good 3 to 4 weeks before needing. but it'll be a good 2-3 weeks before shes even hungry again.... what's funny is that she KNOWS i cant get to her and she knows shes ina good hding spot, and in all liekly hood will stay there as long as she can before she needs to feed.....

btw this is day 5 of the snake/BAJ standoff....

i dont have access to a camera but ill try and get ahold of a camera. it's funny seeing her in there looking out at me.....

oh, and just blast the speaker till it leaves. or put a feeder mouse outside or something.

o ya forgot to mention......im hoping she does her normal routine and craps in her water dish AND NOT inside the cabinet.....

(i keep her cage and water very clean, in fact i change the water every 2 days)
