You know all I've ever got from this thread is just the fact that your proud to be black......I don't care what happened in black history on any day because history isn't black. All your doing is promoting controversy involving your own race and you simply doing nothing positive. But more power to you if you think you are.

He has not forced anything upon you. He is simply giving out information since it IS black history month. Did you not get the memo?

Your posting on a forum that has many racist members about triumphs of your race. I mean would you go to a KKK meeting with an Obama shirt on? It also isn't really something that you must do. Don't get me wrong, I'm not racist, and I don't hate black people, but all this crap about promoting your race and trying to get people to see your side is a waste. Society is simply not going to change. Hatred and racism is always going to exist and its not going to stop because you post a thread in a forum. Obama isn't going to stop it, neither is Oprah. I guess I just get sick of seeing people claiming all these major triumphs that blacks (all races actually) have conquered. That's awesome and everything but really, who the **** cares what color the person is? What they did is what is important, not their skin.
I never said I could do better, I just think it's a waste of your time. Instead of pointing out every great thing a black person has done, why don't you post about how our society sucks and how it can be improved? That's the underlying problem.

1. yeah cause it's black history month and i'm the only member of chevillac's 'blacklist' who does this.

3.)you're right, but you know society changes 1 person at a time. when people send me pm's or post something here about how they enjoy my thread and agree with alot of things i'm saying, thats change to & for me.

4.) well grinder, i get sick of black people blaming everything on white people. i get sick of black people not takin personal responsiblity for themselves, i get sick of negative images on tv, sick of "ghetto-izing" or "hood-izing" everything, sick of hearing songs dissing respecting barack and michelle,, sick of white people being made to feel guilty about past shit they absolutely can't do anything about even if they're able to build a time machine and be right there, sick of everybody questioning why black history month is relevant when nobody questions why BET is relevant, etc
