Alright, probably going to by 2 eu-700's tomorrow. Just wondering if there is any better options. Tang bang? Got a Crystal cmp 8 coming this week(1.25@28hz) so I thought input on some other 8's or smaller would helpful.Thanks

The Crystal is probably at the top of the heap in terms of SQ...while the W7 and others like that are tops in output.

re8s, rli-8s, w6 or w7 8s,koda 8s, their are alot more but i cant think of em, just dont get the kicker cvr 8s they ****

dont want very loud...a good blend with front end,that has good sq,and gets low...with a little output of course....so tang gang or eu-700 opinions?

I'm quite happy with my JL 8W7s. When I compared the sound quality of a single Crystal 8 to a single JL 8W7, I couldn't tell much of a difference (four boxes total on the test I did, two ported, two sealed, each to specified dimensions and tuning of the respective maker). Either of them in a well built box and placement within the vehicle will offer some very good sound quality. The JL will probably offer a bit more SPL over the Crystal though. It all depends on how you tune it. The two JL 8W7s sound infinately better than my old setup (see gallery/avatar).

RE-LI8's for sure. I have seen a couple set ups involving these, and I was VERY surprised by the output... They are some little beasts....

box will be 1.25 tuned to 28 hz....im happy with your comparison,since the Crystal is $90....w7 a little to pricey for me...looks bad *** though!
