power-mat is a joke. A budy of mine bought some and he put 2 layers in the inside of his trunk area and it still rattled like a *****. Didn't even deaden the area. He switched over to some Second Skin Damplifier Pro and that sum ***** doesn't hardly flinch at all.

how long ago was this? I know the guy that is selling power-mat on ebay has been changing names an suppliers I bought some shit from him when he was seling the ASD named product and that stuff was pretty crappy. but the power-mat labled stuff has held up far better than the past crap. you also have to consider poor install. even properly installed rammat won't kil rattles unless you are apllying it to what's rattling.... wouldn't expect a layer on the roof to stop the liscense plate rattle

about 2 weeks ago. He was looking at fat mat and I said no way and he bought the power-mat junk and it sucked.

he must have installed it improperly or didn't install it where he needed to. I had no problem getting it to stick or deaden whatever I applied it too. If it wasn't sticking then its probably a problem with the prep

it was sticking just fine. Went on without a problem. But it didn't do what it was intended to do. It is supposed to deaden whatever it is applied to. Didn't do that. The trunk still rattled very badly. We switched over to Second Skin stuff and it cured the problem. The trunk barely vibrates.

you must have overlooked something. maybe the second skin was thicker. altho you cant stop everything from vibrating. those **** windshield wipers need some matt on em

Its all basically the same stuff......probably didnt use enough of the first product.

Second skin what he used is prob thicker than the power-mat. If he could tell a difference between the 2. I recomment raamat its good and priced cheaper that dynamat. but i have dynamat on my 4 doors and theres no rattling only thing that rattles is the tailgate.
