what good are HD amps if the song quality of the songs are shitty? If you're playing ripped songs from rap mixtapes downloaded off the net, won't that still sound bad? or am i missing the point of an HD amp?

Yes you are, the point is big power in a small size aka Alpine PDX amps.
They are probably full range class D amps.

For those of you commenting on imaging I strongly doubt imaging was a concern in he install I maybe there was obstacle inside that door the prevented them form placing the speakers a traditional location. As for those of you saying "meh" if it's toward the install can you do better? If it is towards the equipment you knew what it was before you cocked the link. If it's toward the "flex" you should know this video was aimed at this type of demographic more towards the masses who don't much more then JL sun it comes to car audio. I have no doubt in my mind that the installer know and could create something much more devastating then that Benz and were simply working within the parameters they were given

I think the idea behind the rear most door speakers was for a simulated "front stage" for the rear passengers. In that car is it not correct to say that the front seat would have been in front of the rearmost speaker set?
