Blow off valve. Requires a turbo. If you just want to sound without spending $3000~5000, which is stupid to get the sound IMO, get a SRI intake.

If you found it on ebay... no. The ones on ebay usually are made cheap. I wouldn't spend any less than 3500. The intercooler's are usually built really cheap, and will crack under normal conditions.

you may find a turbo kit for 2500, but unless you were planning on installing it yourself, plan on spending at least another 1k to have it installed, and have your fuel system and computer set up for it.

Do you even know anything bout turbos? You can't just buy that 2500 turbo and call it a day. You're gonna need new spark plugs, new fuel pump, new CPU, new exhaust, gonna have to redo internals (rods, pistons etc) if your compression ratio isn't good.

There are a couple of nice turbo'd civic hatches around here but they didnt spend 2500 and call it day. If you really know what you are doiong you can piece together the kit for less than 2500....

Or save yourself the trouble and buy an already turboed car. Such as a STR-4, or even better choice, a DSM.

Yes, the BOV is a cool noise, but is commonly referred to as a ricer noise. Most turbo cars have the BOV rerouted to the intake, because it is extra air that is metered for. You have to vent, or setup a blowthrough setup to have it vent.

You can't just buy a turbo right after you had no idea what a BOV was. Do a lot more research before you even think about snapping out that credit card.

I had plans on getting a turbo for my ride (tC) but then I realized that its just not worth it price vs performance wise.

IMO, just by the whistle thing off of ebay, and fuck what everyone else says. Its what you wanted primarily so just get it.
