exactly. not the original. i agree and will continue to use the term (not that this thread would have changed my mind)OP had six days to digest this. Hopefully he has actually read the definition that he posted and realized that if its not the original floor that was designed by the manufacturer it is and will always be called false. From his own definition False = Untrue. Yes it is a real floor but its not the true floor for the car hense it is untrue or false.
i disagree. this allows for logical signal and power distribution. flip them and power and ground routing becomes much more complicated.You should flip the amp on the right so it faces the other.

i think the time should be spent with some of these:

and some time with loom and routing for a safer install and nicer appearance.
If it makes you feel better you can call a false floor just the "floor" and anything below the false floor can be considered a basement.
