i assume when you click the link you get directed to an real looking fake ebay login page, where if you log-in they now have your ebay password and screenname....which means if you are a seller they have access to your CC numbers and all that.

But i never bought what they were saying i did so i closed the window and went to ebay directly and went to my ebay and there were no messeges for me there so...

yep, main reason why i always respond from my ebay account, and double check my pp when i get money. fckin people just sit in rooms in other countries trying to scam people out of money. we should be bombing them....
