Fahrenheit 9/11

How about you vote for the party which embodies YOUR views the best, maybe then the US wouldn't have a two party system and might actually have productive politics.
Well by lesser of two evils, I would hope you would be basing the decision on what you know about each candidate and not your gut instinct [or how many things you agree with as opposed to what you don't agree with]. Lol although the majority of people would probably take that advice and go with who looks more evil....

edit: heh but who am I to argue with America's 'gut feeling' :p

Yea, don't argue with a Candian about the OUR Govt. Things could get ugly;)

Eh...I believe in anarchy personally. But I'm not talking the stupid 'let's kill everyone' anarchy. I'm talking anarchy in it's purest definition - no government. Thoreau said that [paraphrased] 'someone once said "the government that governs best, governs the least," but I say "the government that governs best, governs not at all."

i wonder how access to all these images of bush that everyone HASN'T seen got into the producer's hands.....

isn't that invasion of privacy or b/c u're hte president that can't be?

No, and though I might be shot down for this, it is because the media chooses to show what images they please. It is not and unbiased media, with some companies leaning to the left and others (despite what some may say) leaning to the right. It is not as if these pictures and information are not out there, it is that they are not being shoved in your face by the mass media.

It sure is pleasing that someone has the balls to stand up and confront all of these issues from a POV that doesn't default to defending the "Dubya" administration, but he's like the Howard Stern/Mancow of political activists, and needs to be taken with a large grain of salt. He's stacked enough numbers to make a statistician cry bloody murder.

Also, has anybody considered the fact that MM might only have one *true* agenda on his mind: $$$? Controversy is one of the best ways to attract attention to yourself (or your product) in this country, and he sure has a knack for stirring **** up...

to quote my friend's profile:
"If Bush wasn't president who would all the stupid people in America blame for everything? Because dammit the economy is solely controlled by President Bush and not the millions of other people in this country. Furthermore, no one in the world wanted to go to war in Iraq excluding the countries that participated in the war (Albania, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Estonia, Georgia, Honduras, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, and Ukraine). Also, I think everyone in America should be taken care of by the government because Communism is a good thing and I believe everything on TV and in the newspapers [thus] creating no thoughts of my own and letting those devices influence the way I think. "

Nobody's perfect, but it's good to be informed by non-liberal sources once in a while so people can see the other side of things.

My advice has always been pick the lesser of two evils...but only once you know all the angles and not soley what the media has a boner for. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Very true Bush is getting blamed for a lot of things. Anything that goes wrong is eventually linked to him. The outsourcing of jobs is quite a topic. Some new ideas I have on it are if we outsource all the jobs that are easy to do and don't outsource jobs that take unique thinking what's going to happen to those in america that don't have the brains or were not gifted in the jobs that we are left with? Do we go to a socialist system so that those that can not carry out these jobs receive money from those that can? I heard one guy on tv make the claim that when jobs are outsourced throughout our history we have come up with new things to fill in for what was outsourced. I'm not sure if this streak can go on forever. We are outsourcing even accounting work which means my job oppertunities are going to be less with this degree when I get out of college meaning less pay for me. So what are americans to do for work? I'm throwing all my money into going to college to specialize in a specific area and then after doing all this I find that there are few jobs due to outsourcing? Do you go back to school and specialize in another area? But even outsourcing really isn't left up to the president. It really comes down to the corporations and businesses that decide to outsource to save money.

Businesses are much like consumers in that they want to get a product or service as cheap as possible while maintaining quality. So all products and services (jobs) that can be bought for less outside the US will be bought. Leaving americans with jobs that can't be outsourced due to its inconvenience or due to the fact that other nations are not capable of making it for less. I guess this outsourcing could also lead to us have a large low/poor class and smaller group of upper class well off people, shrinking the middle class.

since we are on politics and all, anyone fans of alex jones? been seeing his stuff recently.. dunno what to believe yet.. some of his stuff are hilarious though, like the bohemian grove secret tape..thought he was in disney land.

I'll prolly go see it...if i have time and some money layin around. I'd rather be shot in the head than vote for Bush this coming november...he's a phukking numbskull hillbilly *** fukk. One of the dumbest presidents ever?? (i'm asking, i know he is factually not very smart...educational wise) Still want to here from some more people who have seen it tho. peace

hey joshpoints, the stickler with outsourcing and kerry saying he can stop it is pretty much BS. Many many many of the companies that are outsourcing have become international corporations, meaning they have offices and buildings in other countries and that they aren't really buying labor overseas for their company in America: they have a good chunk of their company and selling market overseas and, in the process, save money by using as much cheap labor over there as they possibly can so they can sell competitevly in America. There really isn't anything can be done to prevent outsourcing. Even if you could, you can say goodbye to your 50$ dvd players and 100$ microwaves. The cost of products would skyrocket and everyone would feel the blow. The best you can hope for is that new jobs are created when our current jobs are outsourced - if they aren't created, then obviously our economy will shrink and people will buy less, creating disinterest in foreign products and possibly increasing job opportunities again. If your'e really worried, get a government job - those can't be outsourced. Like we'd let Eastern India deal with our taxes and census information lol. Besides, who really wants to be a telemarketer anyway? Did you know Allstate Insurance outsources to Ireland for tech support? That was the most pleasant tech support service I ever got //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

My view on outsourcing. It is the consumers fault. If (not all consumers) a lot of consumers were not so tight with their money, they would spend an extra $1 and purchase American made products of those of foreign products. By purchasing more, then the companies production would increase, creating more jobs, and lowering the prices. This is a way to help out American companies, BUY THEIR PRODUCTS!!!!. Don't complain about how everything is made in China, and then go and buy the product. If you don't like outsourcing, buy American products.
