Fabric stuck in zipper on boots. HELP!

Brand new pair of $130 snake boots.

I had a pair like them for 1 1/2 years and wore them slap out. Have wore this pair MAYBE 6 times and today the fabric on the inside of the boot got caught in the zipper. (Boots zip up on the side).

I have tried everything i could think of to get the fabric out, but I cannot succeed. I have used WD-40, brute force, wrench, screwdriver, knife, blah blah. I have broken the end of the zipper off but still have room to grab it with the wrench. I cannot zip the zipper up or down at all really.

Any ideas? This sucks.

anyway cigarette lighter FTW it will burn out the trapped fabric it shouldn't hurt the boots....

go to a shoe maker i think they can solve your problem

anyway cigarette lighter FTW it will burn out the trapped fabric it shouldn't hurt the boots....

I really do not want to harm the fabric as it is part of what makes the boots waterproof.

Holy crap. My town has a shoe shop that does repairs. Who would have guessed?

Guess I'll visit Jones Shoe Shop tomorrow. lawl.

I know one thing. The main frame of the zipper is built like steel. My brute strength + the grip of an adjustable wrench cannot break it or harm it. Wow.
