fabric for fiber glassing / textured paint

Nylon will work, the mold fabric isn't for strength. It's for shape, strength comes with glass lamination //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Indeed. A good reason to use thin fabric to moldthen lay up with glass.

Thats what i figured, I just wasn't sure if the nylon would hold enough of the resin.

thanks for the feedback

What I always do is start with nylon or pantyhose, get the right shape, then lay over with mat, sand out any bubbles, repeat until I have 4-7 layers of the fiberglass mat over the nylon, bondo it up and sand it smooth. Strong as heck.
