I concur...though I don't agree with what they had scan do to the drivers..they are far superior to anything else in the line....kind of a silly question

for the money type x, for potential f1. but once you're spending that much there are going to be so many factors that regardless your system could end up sounding like shit in relation to how much you spent on speakers.

I have they are on display in a shop not to far from my old job even though they were on a display board they still sound pretty nice. But for the money you could just pick up some revelator mids and the tweets that go with them and run them active..also the crossover on the F#1 3way set is monstrous

x2. your system is only as stong as its weakest link.

for example, no point in buying a F1 headunit for use with stock speakers. and no point in buying F1 speakers with a ehh amp and processing.

on a more realistic level, you might want to consider a set of dynaudio components, focals, or the zapco comps.

well considering that I was asked to be the US sales director for Rainbow...and the fact I've owned the xplain, profi's, platinums, and 2 ref threeways with xtra kickbasses....I'm sure I have enough exp with them
