I'm happy that they are illegal and I hope they stay that way. Don't get me wrong I like them, but there are just way to many stupid *** drivers on the road who do not know what they are doing, that don't have drivers licenses, that don't have insurance, and I wouldn't want to take the chance and get hit by one of these airheads because they are distracted by it.

First of all, accidents are sure to go up, thats a given there. And when traffic accidents go up you know what EVERYONE will be blaming there accidents on??? Underbody lights. So if someone hits you and they plead underbody lights, when there really was no lights around, I mean you'll prolly get compensation but there will be a few times where you will

won't receive anything at all.

Second if they were legal everyone will have them. That dosn't sound bad to you???? Lemme put it this way........every 94 civic with a fart can muffler and a cold air intake with cancer spots on the fenders with some fruit cake with his backwards white hat will have these. And I'm sorry but I couldn't stand for that.

I hope someone breaks your lights for the stupid way you act against the police and the stupid remarks you make. Its a driving distraction, and flashing lights resemble an emergency vehicle. No AND, IF, or BUTs about it. You are also right about them having a lot to do. You are pulling them away from murderers, rapists, robbers, and the rest of societys scum because you think you are a rebel and dont have to obey the laws that everyone else has to follow. Grow up.

yea, they are UNDER the car... and unless they are flashing I don't see why they would be illegal at all. Everyone has flashing red lights on the back of their cars.. they are called brake lights

Lights aren't that dam bad... but there isn't a very good reason to have them on all the time either. Why would then need to be on constantly?

Yeah, good idea. Hate the people who risk their life day after day to be sure that you live in a safe society and that those who break the law and put your life at risk are caught. Some old guy probably called you in. That's what happed to some friends of mine. They were racing some Harleys on the highway at excess speeds, and one of the people they passed called ahead to the highway to the Highway Patrol. THe cops are intitled to listen to outside calls DOUBLE TIME! The police need all the citizen support they can get, and if corrolapower is busted, then that person who called in will be happy with the police.

Plus, indiscriminate use of colored lights is annoying and should be punished.

Good use of these lights are say, a kitted TT Nissan 300ZX with a blue Led underbody kit parked right out front of the club with just a slight glow underneath the car- enough to accent it but not enough for it to be distracting from the car itself.

This is where many people go wrong: THey use them as LIGHTS when they're intended for ACCENTING purposes.

Advice: take them off and put them under the seats inside of your car. That way you can see them, and enjoy them, instead of other people having to worry about them. And if they don't fit, they make a nice beanpole.
