Sold ***F/T ROCKFORD PUNCH 500a2***

Up for sale is a rockford fosgate punch 500a2. It has been sitting around far to long and I have no use for it. Mechanically 10/10, cosmetically 7/10. Sorry no end caps.

Specs: UNDERRATED!!!

125 x 2 watts RMS continuous power into 4 ohms with less than 0.05% THD from 20-20KHZ

250 X 2 watts RMS continuous power into 2 ohms with less than 0.10% THD from 20-20KHZ.

Would like to trade for a 10" dual 2ohm subwoofer for my computer system, a bash or dayton 500 watt plate amp, some nice computer speakers, or gaming headphones...let me know what you have.

im sure its bridgeable, those punch amps didnt have onboard fuses as many of the older punchs didnt. where is the remote connector is what i was wondering? its missing off the board? does this amp work? i had a 360@2 and it great for 80w x2 at 4ohm. still have a 55.2 and a 200 dsm. the only difference that i have noticed with ??@? and the ??.? is the amp numbers. for instance the 55.2 would = a 110@2. but they didnt make an 110@2 but they did make a 100@2 which is rated at 25w x 2, 50w x 2, 100w x 1. and the 55.2 is 27.5w x2,

55w x2, and 110w x 1. another thing i noticed on some of these and the few newer punch lines like the s line and x line some have .05% thd and some have 10% thd. I still havent figured out why the drastic difference but have stayed away from the 10% thd ones.

I like the older punch amps, prefer them over the newer ones, even with the infamous allen screw annoyance.

OMG!!! I just noticed the remote connector was missing...its just been sitting around for so long...sorry guys I cant sell a broken amp, I dont want to **** anybody over...THANK YOU OLDSSKOOL for pointing that out.

is a very easy fix man, could even solder a wire in place, all the same if the amp works. I dont think anyone wants it for a comp or a show car. if you have access to a soldering iron and some solder, solder it, test it, and thats that. If you do then let us know if it works out. I would be interested if it still works and if you found something in my sale thread that interests you as im low on cash due to wishing everyone a merry christmas lol.

yea can fix those hell i fixed a bunch back in the day those remote leads are sooo **** brital.You have to pull the amp apart of course but some soder and a wire will fix it right up!.Thats what i would do if i was you then sell it otherwise no one will want to give you jack for it.

i have a 360a2 just like this one with the end caps i would like to know what kind of power it puts out.??
